Candlelight Vigil

Liberty standing tall

More than ever our great country needs our prayers and support. Much of the world is in mourning and shock from the devasting, heartless slaughter of innocent victims by a source of evil that is incomprehensible. Please join our prayer vigil, there is power in numbers and even more power in prayers. If we join them together in numbers that circle this wounded planet, God will surely give back the healing and justice we all need so badly. Every candle lit with prayers will add another flicker of hope . Let's use the power we have to light this time of darkness and despair.

We all remember exactly where we were, what we were doing when we first heard the news. How the horrible truth began to dawn upon us. The mere mention of the 9/11 recalls a time of shock and fear that stuck our country. I pray for my husband and his troops who served in the Army. My husband died for our country and become our Hero. We love you so much and you will always be in our heatrs. I wish you were here for the birth of Twin Boys. God Bless You!!!!

Anonymous Prayer ~ Sep 15, 2003 ~

Do we remember the days following the tragedy how this country united. People would smile and greet strangers, proudly displayed our flag on vehicles, home etc., people let each other in no matter how busy the traffice was. It seems those days are gone. Let us reunite once again be kind to each other and show our countries colors. Pray for all those who lost loved ones on 9-11. Let's also continue to pray for those brave ladies and gentlemen who are still fighting to sustain our freedom. Pray for the families who are here praying for a safe return. Pray for our nation. PRAY CONTINUOSLY. GOD BLESS US ALL. WE LOVE YOU JESUS!!!!

Father God,

Please be with the families and friends of the victims today as they remember this terrible tragedy. Give them strength to persevere through the days ahead. Please bless the children who have lost one or both parents in this incomprehensible tragedy. Please allow them to feel your presence so they will never be afraid of being left. Please fill them with peace which is beyond human understanding and please, please, please, allow them to see some of the good out of this tragic event. Please touch all of our hearts and never let us forget but allow us to forgive. Amen.

Anonymous Prayer ~ Sep 11, 2003 ~ Wisconsin

I am still haunted by the stories of the victims. One in particular was a young woman who was trying to find her fiance (they were to be married on Dec. 2)She said he would find his way back to her. Sadly, he did not. May God grant you peace. May God grant peace to all who lost loved ones that day. We remember.
