Liberty standing tall

More than ever our great country needs our prayers and support. Much of the world is in mourning and shock from the devasting, heartless slaughter of innocent victims by a source of evil that is incomprehensible. Please join our prayer vigil, there is power in numbers and even more power in prayers. If we join them together in numbers that circle this wounded planet, God will surely give back the healing and justice we all need so badly. Every candle lit with prayers will add another flicker of hope . Let's use the power we have to light this time of darkness and despair.

6 years ago,a tragic thing happened.6 years ago,our country realized really what cruel things can and will happen.It's hard to believe that that aweful day happened 6 years ago.But now,it's opened our eyes to see the world at it's worst.The war shouldn't be happening,but that day shouldn't have happened.I'm overwhelmed with sorrow for the people that lost family members and friends on that day.I pray for any terrorist attack to not happen again,and I pray for the families that lost loved one.

on september 11 we rember the people that died in the twin tower attacks. But i know that they were doing what they liked to do. I now know that are military will keep us save and that they are on high alert. I hope that there is no more attacks on amrican soil. But if there is another attack that are men and women that serve us every day will be there to protect us. Also the police and fire department will be there also to save us.

My name was chosen so I have my own memoriol every time I sign on. I lost many brothers I had never met that day. This Prayer is known to them, my brothers and sisters.

When I'm called to duty, God wherever flames may rage, give me strength to save some life, whatever be its age. Help me embrace a little child before it is too late, or save an older person from the horror of that fate.
Enable me to be alert to the weakest shout, and quickly and efficiently put the fire out. I want to fill my calling, and give the best of me, to gaurd my neighbor and protect his properity.
If according to fate i am to be called to the promised land, Lord, please bless my family with your protecting hand.

The above is the Firefighter's Prayer.

We pray for those who perished on September 11th at the World Trade Center, at the Pentagon, and in the fields of Pennsylvania, that they experience eternal life with You in heaven.

We pray for those who grieve: for wives and husbands, parents, family and friends, that hearts
saddened by the loss of loved ones might be strengthened with courage, and come to know the promise of new life.

We pray for the children, for those left without a parent, and for the children who witnessed the attacks that they might flourish in the embrace of loving hearts.

We pray for all those who have helped: for firefighters, police personnel, emergency service workers, counselors, for all who volunteered, that they experience the reward of generous service.

We pray for the grace to forgive: that our hearts be large enough to forgive those people who struck our nation.

We pray for a future of freedom and peace: for courage, wisdom and strength of heart to live every day in hope for a peaceful world, grounded in the knowledge of God's love.

Loving God, hear our prayers this day. As we keep the memory of those who have died, may our faith in the resurrection of your Son Jesus strengthen us. Renew the spirits of all who grieve.

May our love continue to show forth in deeds, and our hope give us courage to persevere.
