Candlelight Vigil

 |
More than ever our great country needs our prayers and support. Much of the
world is in mourning and shock from the devasting, heartless slaughter of
innocent victims by a source of evil that is incomprehensible. Please join our
prayer vigil, there is power in numbers and even more power in prayers. If we
join them together in numbers that circle this wounded planet, God will
surely give back the healing and justice we all need so badly. Every candle lit
with prayers will add another flicker of hope . Let's use the power we have to
light this time of darkness and despair.

i know its a bit late, but to all those who lost some one in the 9-11 attacks, i am so so so sorry. there are not enough words to express how sorry i am...especially to all the family's of the fire fighters....you had the most amazing and brave husbands/brothers/sons's...they will never ever be forgotten. i cry for hours on end thinking of them that Volunteered there help and lives to all those people stuck in the twin towers that day. i feel a complete emptyness thkinking about all the families and kids that now have to suffer as a result of this, so i can only imagine how you feel. my thoughts and prayers will always be with you and i just want all the kids to know that their dad died a hero inc the people just working in the towers. we can only hope and pray that something like this will never happen again. my thoughts are with you always.

My name is Shane and I am seven years old and just learning of wars and how army, navy, air force help protect us. My nanny has been explaining the war on terrorist because I am interested in the twin towers. When I grow up I want to join to army to help protect people, I heard 3000 people died and this upset me. I would like to help yall right now but I am just seven years old. I have been watching the video's over and over. I want to join the army so I can help when I am big and protect our country from bad people. I hope the world is safe until I can grow up and help. I feel bad for the ones who died and their families, we have lost so many people and this is really bothering me. I hope no one else dies. I hate I have wait until I am 18 to help this is really bothering me and I will continue to look up information about wars and army;s. My prayers are with you that is all I can do at this time. Shane I wish all the very best. I am also want everyone to remember my PaPa Tony Griffin who was in world war II fighting the Germany's to protect us. This is very important to me and I think about how horrible war is and want to help but told I have to wait. GOD BLESS EVERYONE!!

God there has been so much time and yet this tragedy is still so new and hurtful. Im still so sad for those who lost loved ones and for the ones they lost. My heart aches for our wonderful country that I love so much. God I know you want us to forgive but it has been hard as so many of your children lost their lives and so many of them continue to lose their lives because of this meaningless act of terror. I just want to go back in time and undo it all for all of us especially for those who have died. Your word reminds me of a day when a different kind of tragedy an act of terror was commited and you lost your only son. Forgive us father for asking "WHY", as it is only our nature and thank your for your arms that welcomed them all home never to suffer again. We are still broken but you God are the healer. Please heal our country and everyone that has been touched by this tragedy and so many others. God we are so grateful and blessed for those who were saved and know that you have spoken to their lives and the lives of their families in an incredible way. Please keep us all in your everlasting love and care and guide us in the right direction and our leaders Lord please show them your wisdom so that they might choose the right paths. Thank you God for your comfort and thank you for sending my son in law home safe from defending our country and bringing him back to his family. I give all the praise to you my lord and saviour. AMen

Seven years since the planes flew into the twin towers. Honestly it still effects everyone. Everytime the new year rolls around, and September comes up, my heart fill with grief and sadness for all those poor souls. I pray for the fallen, the broken, and the ones who still have to live through the shawdow of the past. I was someone who asked, where was God? He WAS there. In our hearts as well as our prayers. God Bless America! The beautiful U.S.A

Hate is the most horrible crime of all, for out of hate springs forth death, destruction, lawlessness, and chaos. For all those who perished on 9/11/01, know that you are now our angels and we love you all for watching over us. For all those who lost someone on 9/11/01, please remember that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, and if our loved ones cant be here with us, what better place could there be for them? For those who took part in any way shape or form in this horrible, cowardly, despicable act, as angry and hurt as I am, I pray That God will forgive you for your gutless, spineless existence, for as far as I'm concerned, I never will.
